Institut TELECOM is the new name of Groupe des Ecoles des Télécommunications, a public institution funded by the French Ministry of Telecommunications and composed by four main engineering and management schools that is TELECOM ParisTech, TELECOM Bretagne, TELECOM SudParis and TELECOM Ecole de Management. Institut TELECOM provides graduate programs in engineering and management, and achieves research in the broad field of communications and information technology. In this project, two teams from institute TELECOM will collaborate: SIMBAD from institute TELECOM SudParis (formerly Institut National des Télécommunications or INT), and I3 from TELECOM ParisTech.

The Computer Science Department is working, among others, on complex manipulations of product, resources, services, and processes in a dynamic and large scale distributed and virtual enterprises and organizations. These manipulations include using of semantic information for service description, discovery, selection, composition and meta-modeling.
